Person Centred Counselling
The ethos of this approach is that given the right conditions, people can become who they truly are, making the most of their strengths and achieving their full potential.
Together we’ll explore your unique thoughts, feelings and experiences (both past and present) and the role they’ve played in shaping the person you are today as well as the impact that may be having on your mind and body.
Person Centred Counselling is usually a longer-term type of therapy.
Solution Focused Brief Therapy
A short-term therapy which focuses on setting goals and working out how to achieve them. It’s about the future rather than the past and promotes positive change by encouraging you to focus on what you can do, rather than what you can’t, and how your life will be once your concerns are resolved.
As the name suggests, this type of therapy is shorter term, usually 6-8 sessions
At Living CALM we work around you and your individual needs and circumstances, which is why we provide counselling in a number of ways.
In Person Counselling
Our therapy room in South Normanton is a space of calm and warmth, a place to come, settle and just be.
Online Counselling
Studies suggest that online therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy. For some people the flexibility and convenience of accessing therapy from their own home is preferable.
Finding the right therapy and the right therapist for you is so important, which is why we offer a free 30-minute discovery session so that you can ask any questions you might have and make an informed choice before you decide.
